Jan. 5, 2:33 a.m. University Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Mills Drive. As a result, one non-student was arrested for narcotic violations. Reports were filed. As a result of a subsequent investigation, charges were also made for theft of property from Hobart Hall.
Jan 17, 12:50 a.m. University Police took a report of criminal mischief to a non-student's vehicle while parked in the Pioneer Hall lot. This occurred between 4:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. Reports were filed and this case is open
Jan. 20, 8:57 p.m. University Police responded to Overlook South on a CDS complaint. As a result three students were referred to Residence Life who was on the scene. Reports were filed and this case is cleared.
Jan 21, 3:54 p.m. University Police became involved in a motor vehicle pursuit/eluding violation beginning in lot five. As a result one former student was struck when a WPU Officer's weapon discharged in North Haledon during a subsequent struggle. The incident is under investigataion by the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office. This case is pending.
Jan. 22, 12:26 p.m. University Police responded to the Science Building on the theft of a student's books. Reports were filed and the case is open.
Jan. 22, 1:39 p.m. University Police took a report of a student's wallet being stolen at the Rec.Center. Reports were filed and this case is open.
Jan. 22, 10:52 p.m. University Police responded to Overlook South on a housing violation. As a result, one student was referred to Residence Life. Reports were filed and this case is cleared.
Jan. 23, 1:04 a.m. University Police responded to Overlook South on a housing violation. As a result one student was referred to Residence Life. Reports were filed and this case is cleared.
Jan. 24, 2:45 a.m. University Police responded to a simple assault at Heritage Hall. This involved two students and Residence Life was on the scene. Reports were filed and this matter was referred to Residence Life.
Jan 25, 1:21 a.m. University Police responded to Matelson Hall on a burglary. Taken were sneakers and an iPod. Reports were filed and this case is open.
Jan. 26, 2:05 a.m. University Police checked on a possible use of CDS. As a result two students were referred to Residence Life for Alcohol and CDS use. Also, one student for a housing violation. Reports were filed and this case is cleared.
Jan. 26, 4:04 a.m. University Police responded to Pioneer Hall on possible tresspassing. As a result two students were referred to Residence Life for housing violations.
Jan. 26, 11:22 p.m. University Police responded to harassment/domestic violence at Hillside Hall. No charges were made at this time. Residence Life was on the scene. Reports were filed and this case is cleared.
