Registration Causes Headaches

It's that dreaded time of year again. The student body is up in arms, advisors and other officials are nowhere to be found and the William Paterson University website takes longer to load than it would to find parking on campus. Of course, I could only be referring to the impossible task of registering for classes.
I really try to give this university the benefit of the doubt. When my peers voice their extreme dislike of certain offices and departments, I try to take their opinions with a grain of salt. However, this semester's registration process has really tried my patience, and I am completely fed up with the excuses.
I find it absolutely unacceptable that registration is more chaotic than the previous semester. I understand that it takes much time and effort to put together and maintain a website that is used by thousands of students and faculty members, but it is utterly ridiculous that it can be so unorganized. Why is it so difficult to put up accurate schedules several days in advance? When do the people in charge start working on this, the week of registration?
What's more, why is it that there are very few options available when choosing which classes to take? Commuters like myself do not have the luxury to go to our dorm rooms in between classes. There are many of us who must go to a morning class, leave for work and return at night. Then there are those who have to work on specific days and can only take classes that are left over. Why should we have to choose whether to support ourselves through college or sacrifice the classes we need thereby deferring graduation? At this rate, the average college experience will last closer to a decade than the five or six years we have achieved thus far.
I could go on, but will anyone listen to what I have to say? Each year we voice our complaints, and we are assured that things will change. However, it seems that the situation is only becoming worse as each semester goes by. I strongly suggest to whomever those in charge that they makes it their duty to straighten things out. Granted, there will never be a registration period when everything goes right. Yet, when you see your peers foaming at the mouth and cursing the day they ever came to this school, when they are hopeless because they cannot see an end in sight, it's obvious that this is a serious problem that requires immediate attention.
