-With 21 TD passes and throwing for over 2800 passing yards so far this season, Ryan has sparked Boston College to an 8-1 start and a one-game lead in the ACC Atlantic standings. Ryan’s Heismann-like performance would have been the game vs. conference rival Virginia Tech. Ryan lead a late comeback with two td passes under five minutes to help Boston College defeat Virginia Tech in Blacksburg.
Dennis Dixon- QB Oregon
- He's thrown for 20 touchdowns and only three interceptions. Dixon has added 549 yards and eight touchdowns on the ground. Dixon has also delivered in the big games and has the Ducks, ranked 3rd in the BCS Standings and 1st place in the PAC-10, in the thick of the national title hunt.
Darren Mcfadden- RB Arkansas
- Though Arkansas has pretty much blown their chance for any spot in a BCS title game, Mcfadden has made the best of this season, averaging 146 yards per game on the ground, which ranks fourth in the nation. He exploded last week vs. South Carolina, when he ran for a NCAA record 326 yards.
Chase Daniel- QB Missouri
-Daniel has led the Missouri Tigers in the hunt for not only a Big-12 championship, but also for a spot in the national title game as well. He has led his team to big wins over Nebraska, Texas A&M, Colorado, and Illinois. His biggest task will be the last game scheduled on Missouri’s schedule, #4 Kansas.
Pat White- QB West Virginia
White's blazing speed and efficient passing triggers the explosive WVU offense. The junior has rushed for 656 yards and nine TDs, and has thrown for 1,000 yards and nine touchdowns. Along with running back Steve Slaton, White would be the reason for the success of West Virginia: ranked 7th in the BCS and the frontrunner to win the Big East Title.

Are you crazy or is it you don't know football? Where is Tim Tebow? Tebow is definitely a front runner and should win the trophy!!!

Tim Tebow IS THE ONLY Heisman candidate. To ignore him just shows Barretts ignorance or bias. Heck, Superman wears Tim Tebow pajamas. Get with it Barrett!

One slight correction....... McFadden rushed for an NCAA tying 321 yards aganst USC and not a record setting 326. Not even sure where the 326 came from since the initial reports were that he set the record at 323 before they realized that they gave him credit for a rush that Felix Jones actually made. I am a diehard FSU fan, but I watched Tim Tebow grow up in St. Augustine and I see what he is doing at Florida and what he has accomplished with the gators at such a young age is phenomenal. (Continued…)

I dont know what you all were thinking.... yes Tebow has phenomenal stats on his record for the season but if Florida didn't have him ad used another QB they would more than likely have the same record. (Continued…)
