Grand Theft Auto IV: Coming Soon

Issue date: 4/14/08 Section: Entertainment
The gaming industry is buzzing about the fourth edition of Grand Theft Auto IV. Enhanced graphics, never-seen-before features and improved game play are some of the perks of the game, to be released on April 29, 2008.
The story mode enables players to guide Niko Bellic, the main character in the story. Bellic, who possesses a rough, no play mentality, travels from Eastern Europe and ends up in beautiful Liberty City. The land of opportunity, as Bellic envisioned it, turns upside down as he learns the bitter truth about the "American lifestyle."
The story slowly unravels as Bellic's cousin offers him a taste of the fruits from the fine lifestyle he portrays. As Bellic steps off the boat, his mindset completely changes when he learns what one must do in order to survive. The wealth, power and comfort of the "good life" are all up for grabs for this European immigrant, and of course, he takes whatever he can get.
Rockstar Games created the game to operate on both Xbox 360 and the advanced PlayStation 3. The details of the game are immaculate. From the potholes to the rooftops, every inch of it is perfected. The game consists of four boroughs and an area outside of Liberty City. Gamers now have the opportunity to climb obstacles, drive cars, steer boats and control aircraft in a manner that was not possible in previous generations.
Rockstar has kept its lips tight about the online multiplayer mode, along with many other features of this new edition.
